Container Depot

Our depot is centrally located at Orugodawatta, along the Base line road only 1 km away from the entrance to the ‘main port access road’ offering un paralleled advantage to the clients in terms of quick and easy access to the port. The Board of Investment (BOI) verification unit for export containers is also located adjacent to our depot which demonstrates the importance of the location to the exporter community.

The yard covers a paved and well drained land area of 3.5 acres and has a container stacking capacity of 2000 teus
The depot is equipped with 2 nos side loading empty handlers and 1 nos 2.5 ton fork lift for yard equipment handling. A 35 tons capacity laden container handler is also available on demand.

We offer a complete range of container repair, maintenance and cleaning services to our client shipping lines as a part of the integrated depot service.

The depot operates 24x7x365 with highly motivated and competent staff.

A 5050 sq ft warehouse with an additional 1000 sq ft of customs approved bonded storage is available at the container deport premises. There is a resident customs officer stationed to overlook the warehouse activities..
